RWB Football

RWB Football needed a website that could do more than showcase events. We built a custom WordPress platform with integrated QR-code ticket validation, giving organisers a straightforward way to manage registrations and check attendees into major football fan experiences.

The brief

RWB Football runs ticketed events for England matches at Cray Wanderers FC in Kent. They needed a system that would let fans book online and then be checked in quickly at the door, without paper lists or manual lookups. The site had to handle registrations, issue tickets with unique QR codes, and give staff a simple scanning tool for entry.

The build

Custom WordPress platform

We built the site on WordPress with a custom booking flow. Visitors choose an event, enter their details, and receive a confirmation email with a QR code attached. The code is generated per booking and stored against the attendee record.

QR validation system

On the day, staff use a phone or tablet to scan each code. The system checks it against the database in real time, marks the ticket as used, and flags any duplicates or invalid codes. This prevents double entry and gives organisers a live count of who has arrived.

Event management

Organisers can create events, set capacity, and view bookings from the WordPress dashboard. They can also resend tickets or cancel bookings if needed. The whole process runs from one admin area, so there is no need to export data to another tool.

The result

RWB Football now runs their fan experiences with a fully digital check-in process. Queues move faster because scanning takes seconds, and staff can see at a glance how many people are inside.
