Three Simple Website Tweaks That Boost Local Rankings

Most SEO improvements aren't glamorous — but these three are remarkably effective, and you can do them today.

Most SEO improvements aren't glamorous. But some are incredibly effective, and you can implement them without touching code.

1. Put your town on every service page

Not stuffed in the footer — naturally, in headings and first paragraphs. 'Boiler servicing across Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme and Stafford' tells Google and readers exactly who you serve.

2. Add a genuine local FAQ

Three to five questions customers in your area actually ask, answered honestly. FAQs earn featured snippets, defuse sales objections and give Google the local vocabulary it's looking for.

3. Link your pages together properly

Your homepage should link to services, services to relevant towns, towns back to contact. Most small sites are barely linked at all — fixing internal links helps Google find everything and understand what matters most.

Three tweaks, no developer required. For the technical half — speed, structure, schema — that's what we're here for.
